The Pixies are coming to the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles, California this December for a stacked event. Supported by Eagles Of Death Metal and the Orwells, the all ages event is set to begin Dec. 13 at 7:00 PM. It’ll be sure to be a Wednesday night to remember. Ticket prices are around $59.50, a price that’s a little steeper but well worth it for the lineup. Cop a ticket while you still can.
With 40 upcoming tour dates until August 2018, the Pixies have six dates in CA but only one in the southern portion. Angelenos only get one chance to see this superstar lineup. The next six concert dates that are upcoming for the band are sold out, including one in Oakland, CA at the Fox Theater. The bands will stay in NorCal and Central California for a work week before heading to LA for their show at the Hollywood Palladium.
After CA, the Pixies will hit the eastern part of the nation, including Florida, Louisiana, Texas and Ohio. The group will spend the majority of spring and summer 2018 touring the nation, ending their run in Phoenix, Arizona at the AK-Chin Pavilion Aug. 12.
Hailing from Boston, Massachusetts, the Pixies are an American alternative rock group originally formed in 1986. The band currently consists of Black Francis, Joey Santiago, David Lovering and Paz Lenchantin. The band disbanded for some time around 1993, but ultimately chose to get back together in 2004. Their music is known for having strong elements of surf rock, psychedelia and noise pop, helping foster future generations of alternative rock bands. While the group quickly became a cult classic in the states, they also garnered a massive international fan base. Their popularity grew while the group was disbanded as well, leading them to often perform sold out shows where ever they play.
