According to the PRP, Foo Fighter’s Dave Grohl helped close a Guns N’ Roses show at the BOK Center in Tulsa, OK. The set took place on November 14th, and Grohl was special surprise guest at the Guns N’ Roses concert, joining them on stage for their closing song “Paradise City.” Grohl shredded on his guitar alongside Slash and even threw some vocals into the mix at times. GNR have been on tour since their unexpected reunion in 2016.

Axl Rose, Slash, and Duff McKagan came together to share a stage again for the first time in over two decades for their “Not In This Lifetime Tour“, produced by Live Nation. Since then, much to some people’s surprise, they have been going strong playing a few sold out shows all over the country. The tour was named 2017’s top selling tour around the world.

Back in the day, Axl Rose and Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain were caught up in beef that built up to a showdown at the 1992 MTV Video Music Awards. Any hard feelings between Rose and Grohl’s old band have seemingly been put behind them, as they tore up the stage together Tuesday night. See Dave Grohl and GNR perform “Paradise City” below.

I composed music for a few months in college while living in New York which further sparked my passion for a career in the music industry. Live music is one of my all time favorite things to experience; First Avenue is my favorite venue, might be bias since I was born and raised in Minnesota. Happy ears, happy years.
