So popular that two shows had to be erected. Goldenvoice is bringing Indonesia’s Rich Chigga to the Fonda Theatre Nov. 20 for a second Los Angeles show. Called the “Come To My Party Tour,” Rich Chigga will be supported by Duckwrth and Don Krez. On top of this show, Rich Chigga is set to have a show Nov. 21 (the next day) at the same venue.
Rich Chigga has 19 upcoming concert dates through next year that span across the United States and Eurasia. He’s performing in China, Europe, South Korea, the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore and his hometown of Jakarta, Indonesia. His next show in the states is Nov. 14 at the Gothic Theatre in Englewood, Colorado. Then he jumps from Salt Lake City, Utah to Chandler, Arizona before coming to LA.
Ticket prices will are currently $28, and the event starts right at 9:00 PM. Doors to the event will open promptly at 8:00 PM. These shows are sure to be absolute bangers, so make sure you cop your ticket while you still can.
A Los Angeles transplant, Rich Chigga, also known as Brian Imanuel, is an Indonesian rapper and comedian from Jakarta. He is widely known on social media. He is best known for his viral debut single “Dat $tick”, which was released last year.
Barely 18 years old, Rich Chigga has managed to make a worldwide name for himself. Born to parents of Chinese and Indonesian descent, Rich Chigga has four siblings. Two of those siblings have gone on to make names for themselves via the internet and social media. Never gaining a formal education, Rich Chigga began using social media -such as Twitter- at the age of 13, according to Rolling Stone Magazine.
He got on the app Vine and from there he moved on to Youtube, according to Forbes; his rap career started soon after. He also taught himself how to speak English via YouTube videos and rappers like Childish Gambino and Macklemore. In 2012 he began to create rap music, though it started more as comedy stuff, according to Playboy Magazine. With time he began to take his work seriously, deciding to move to LA to write a debut album.
