The BUKU Music + Art Project is a annual music festival that takes place in New Orleans, Louisiana every March. For the past six years the urban music festival, that obviously is heavily influenced by the creative New Orleans’ culture, has fused a diverse musical lineup with live street art, local food vendors and one-of-a-kind industrial art installations. Each year a portion of ticket proceeds from the BUKU Music + Art Project support an educational non-profit program called The Upbeat Academy Foundation, that teaches the technical and creative skills of hip-hop music production to youth of New Orleans. Artist who have blessed the stages of the southern music festival include Nas, Kendrick Lamar, Kid Cudi, Travis Scott, A$AP Rocky, Wiz Khalifa, Tyler, The Creator, Calvin Harris, Run The Jewels, Rae Scremmurd and Big K.R.I.T. and it seems as if next year’s lineup will be just as amazing as the past.

According to a press release, the seventh installment of BUKU Music + Art Project that will take place on March 9-10, 2018 at Mardi Gras World in New Orleans, is set to have dub-step producer/DJ Bassnectar headlining the Phase 1 preview of music festival. Alongside him will be indie rock band MGMT and critically acclaimed R&B singer SZA. The first phase will also consist of hip hop acts such as Isaiah Rashad, Flatbush Zombies and Smino while also including producers of different genres such as Mura Masa, CloZee and Jade Cicado, Borgore and Alison Wonderland. Phase 2 performers are expected to be announced after Thanksgiving and Phase 3 shortly after the New Year. As of now General Admission, GA Plus, VIP 21+, VIP, and TOO BUKU VIP 2-Day Passes and Travel Packages for all ticket types are on sale.
