With 2017 slowly coming to an end, there are a few things music fans can expect. For hip-hop fans, they will be delighted to learn that one of the most celebrated hip-hop albums of all time is getting the remastered touch. The Pharcyde, Los Angeles hip-hop veterans are celebrating their 25th anniversary of their seminal debut Bizarre Ride II the Pharcyde by releasing an expansive deluxe reissue that will hit stores and computer screens November 17th via Craft Recordings.

When the album was first released back in 1992, it was deemed a classic of the alternative hip-hop genre with comparrisons to De La Soul and A Tribe Called Quest. It included hits such as “Oh Shit,” “Otha Fish,” “Ya Mama,” and the #1 hit “Passin’ Me By.”  A true rite of passage to anyone who calls themselves a hip-hop fan.

With the 25th anniversary set of Bizarre Ride II the Pharcyde, fans expect it to be available in several formats, including a vinyl package featuring two LPs and three 12-inch singles, and a two-CD set that will feature both the original album and bonus material. There will also be remastered versions of the original album that will be available both digitally and on vinyl, CD and cassette. All the versions are available to pre-order now.

To support the release of the 25th anniversary reissue of Bizarre Ride, WhoSampled have teamed up with Craft Recordings to present an interactive album experience to celebrate the album. Their goal is to tell the story of the group and showcase to fans everywhere their lasting effect on popular music. Dive deep into the story behind the album, flip through some archival photos and press material. The site features infographics, interactive features, a Spotify playlist and even a fun Six Degrees of The Pharcyde. The whole experience will have you occupied for hours.
