Webcast: Watch the Linkin Park & Friends Celebrate Life in Honor of Chester Bennington Concert at the Hollywood Bowl

After Linkin Park’s lead singer Chester Bennington tragically committed suicide earlier this year, there were questions about whether or not the band would continue on. Even though the band was still going strong, having released their seventh studio album One More Light just weeks before his death, the death of a lead singer and frontman is almost always the end of said group.

However, Linkin Park are soldiering on as a band, with a special concert at the Hollywood Bowl in honor of their late lead singer being their first move. For over a decade, Linkin Park had been one of the hugest groups in rock ‘n roll, so it is no surprise that the special guests that will appear at the concert is a who’s-who of the music industry. Guests include members of Blink-182, Jonathan Davis of Korn, Kiiara, Zedd, members of No Doubt, Machine Gun Kelly, System of a Down, Yellowcard, Avenged Sevenfold and more.

According to the band’s other singer, Mike Shinoda, it was none other than producer Rick Rubin who influenced the band’s decision to take the stage again. However, this may just be one-off until the band can plot the path forward without their incredibly talented vocalist, as they have cancelled their upcoming tour dates.

For those that don’t live in Los Angeles (and for those that do but either couldn’t get a ticket in time, couldn’t afford a ticket, or just don’t want to fight Hollywood traffic on a Friday), there is another option. The band will be livestreaming the concert, which you can see below. The livestream begins at 7:45 PM PST.
