Innings Festival Announces 2018 Lineup Featuring Queens of the Stone Age, Avett Brothers and Young the Giant

The folks that brought you Lollapalooza and Austin City Liits Festival, have now cooked up a new festival recipe. They have created Innings Festival as a way to celebrate spring training, and music. The Festival will take place March 23-25 in Tempe Arizona, right during the heart of spring training. There will be over 35 artists present, along with special appearances from baseball players. The creators say Innings Festival is, “The can’t-miss spring training celebration for music lovers and passionate baseball fans.”

Although tickets are still not out, the lineup has been released. Chris Stapleton, Queens of the Stone Age and The Avett Brothers will be headlining. Chris Stapleton made his mark as solo artist, with his 2015 breakout album Traveller. This past May, he released a follow up titled From a Room: Volume 1. Queens of the Stone Age are just coming off of a hot performance at Cal Jam, and recent summer release of their album Villains. The Avett Brothers released their album True Sadness in 2016 and have been making the rounds at festivals like Newport Folk Festival, Kaaboo, High Water, Lock’n and Pilgrimage.

Interested buyers can go to the Innings Festival website for more information and to purchase tickets. There are three tiers of three days passes for $159, $179 and $199 as well as a single day pass for $95. Tickets go on sale this Friday the 27th at 10 AM PST.
