Tom Waits’ Entire Anti-Records Catalog to be Reissued

Tom Waits has one of the most distinctive voices in the world of music. His voice was once described by a critic as sounding as though “it was soaked in a vat of bourbon, left hanging in the smokehouse for a few months, and then taken outside and run over with a car.” With a career expanding over twenty years, Tom Waits and his raspy growl continues to win over fans every time he shares a record.

Fans of Tom Waits will be rejoicing because today, news comes out that Waits and his musical collaborator and wife, Kathleen Brennan is overseeing a set of remastered versions of all the records Waits has released for the ANTI- label over the course of the past twenty years.

In other words, Christmas is coming early.

The singer and songwriter is about to release his entire music catalogue with ANTI-Records, from 1999’s Mule Variations all the way through to Bad As Me which was released back in 2011. These reissued albums is slated to come out in the upcoming months with the help of his wife and musical collaborator, Kathleen Brennan. Waits personally remastered each of his six releases including a “new, remixed” version of his 2004 album, Real Gone.

The new remastered collection will be available on both vinyl and CD and will start with the release of Bad As Me on November 10th followed by Real Gone, Alice and Blood Money on November 24th. December has Glitter & Down, Waits’ 2009 live album set to be released on the 1st with Mule Variations wrapping the year up on December 15th. Fans will have to wait to see what Waits has in store for his 2006 compilation, Orphans: Brawlers, Bawlers & Bastards. The repackaged issue is planned to come out sometime in 2018.

Fans can pre-order the remastered versions of Tom Waits entire catalogue through his official website. Those who are interested have the option once they have visited the site to pre-order the records either on vinyl or album.
