Golden Plains Announces 2018 Lineup Featuring Kamasi Washington, Grizzly Bear and King Krule

Golden Plains Festival is a Premium Music Festival that takes place at the Meredith Supernatural Amphitheatre, on private farmland in Victoria, Australia during the Victorian Labour Day long-weekend. What makes this festival stand out so much is there lack of commercial sponsors, commercial signage on site, market stalls and material that can be marketed to Golden Plains attendees for the whole long weekend. The music festival is meant to be a haven, allowing campers to camp wherever they like, bringing almost everything and anything they want, including a couch that can be planted in the Amphitheatre to soak up the musical experience for the entire the weekend. Since 2007, big name acts such as Bon Iver, George Clinton, Public Enemy Flying Lotus, Goyte, The Drones, The Slits, Moodyman, Ween and many more have performed at the Australian music festival and it seems that next year’s line up is sure to be one for the books as well.

According to The Music, Golden Plains has announced the lineup for their upcoming annual music festival next year in March from the 10th-the 12th. The lineup will consist of indie rock legend Grizzly Bear, who will most likely perform tracks from their latest album Painted Ruins, jazz musician Kamasi Washington, who will have the crowd grooving to melodies from his latest EP Harmony of Difference, King Krule ,who will have the Amphitheatre jamming to hits of his such as “Czech One” and a plethora of other artist as well.
