Pretty Lights Releases Surreal Video for Funk-Infused New Song “Rainbows and Waterfalls”

Pretty Lights is back with an invigorating music video for new song “Rainbows and Waterfalls.”  Derek Vincent Smith—Pretty Lights—has really set the bar with this make of Shuggie Otis’ 1971 classic “Strawberry Letter 23,” blending old school funk and hip-hop with a little bit of electronic that could belong to no genre. Letter 22 is a story of the positivity that underscores all movement towards progress and enlightenment. The music video is truly compelling, combining vintage and futuristic vibes to make a beautiful film complimenting the song perfectly. Watch it below. “Rainbows and Waterfalls” is the bands first release since “Only Yesterday” in March 2016.
