Talib Kweli Announces New Album Radio Silence for November 2017 Release

It’s been two years since hip hop artist Talib Kweli released his last project album F*** the Money. Since the 2015 release we haven’t heard much from the Brooklyn MC besides sharing his mixtape Awful People Are Great at Parties and being a featured on a couple of different projects last year, that came from artist such as Anderson. Paak, Shura and A Tribe Called Quest. This probably explains why Kweli is dropping a plethora of music this year. Month after releasing his joint EP project The Seven with fellow hip hop artist Styles P, Kweli has recently announced that his brand new album Radio Silence will be arriving in the middle of next month in November.

According to Brooklyn Vegan rapper Talib Kweli will be dropping his eighth album Radio Silence, an album that Kweli has been teasing the public since the release of his last album F*** the Money in 2015. The new eleven track album will have producers Kaytranada, Alchemist and J Rhodes and feature artists such as Anderson .Paak, Jay Electronica, Wake Flocka, Rick Ross, Bilal, Robert Glasper, Amber Coffman, Myka 9 and Datcha. Kweli, who frequently DJ’s at drummer/hip hop producer Questlove’s Bowl Train party at Brooklyn Bowl, will be there the day before the new album comes out, November 16, for the “Radio Silence Album Release Extravaganza.” To build up the anticpation for Radio Silence, Kweli also released a debut single from the album, “Heads Up Eyes Open,” which features a verse by Rick Ross, a hook sung by Yummy Bingham, and piano-heavy production from J Rhodes.
