Feist, Sharon Van Etten and Foo Fighters have released new songs as part of the 7-Inches For Planned Parenthood collection, a series of 7-inch records and downloads that will benefit Planned Parenthood. Feist’s new song “Born To Bond” exhibits the singer and multi-instrumentalist’s creative process and sounds like it could have been from her 2017 release Pleasure. Listen to “Born to Bond” below.

Sharon Van Etten’s contribution to the 7-Inches For Planned Parenthood is a song called “Passion and Love,” her first new song for three and a half years. It is a simple, meager song, comprised mostly of Van Etten and acoustic guitar. Listen below.

Foo Fighter’s have released a track titled “Soldier” as they lend a legendary musical hand to help with the series. Hear it below.

I composed music for a few months in college while living in New York which further sparked my passion for a career in the music industry. Live music is one of my all time favorite things to experience; First Avenue is my favorite venue, might be bias since I was born and raised in Minnesota. Happy ears, happy years.
