For The Children 2017: Infest, Ramallah, Terror, Strife, All Out War & More @ The Echoplex 12/09-10

Every year SOS Booking puts together a wild weekend with the For The Children Festival. This year will be no different. Prep yourself for fun; from Dec. 8-10 there will be festivities that everyone can enjoy. At Los Globos on the 8th, catch an Agnostic Front performance. Pre-show ticket will be sold separately at GonzoPresents.com (not included with 2 Day Pass or 2 Day Pass + After Show tickets). The next day potentially catch headliners Infest, Ramallah, Terror and more at the Echoplex.

The day after catch the rest of the bands at Echoplex, then head over to the Resident for any after shows, which have no released lineups yet. There will probably be some great bands performing though. For $40, get a two-day pass to the festival. For $60, get a pass with the after shows. The price has changed over the years with overwhelming popularity, but one thing has always been the same: bring a toy for a child to get into the venue each day. The goal is to get enough toys to donate to underprivileged children for Christmas.

The list of artists performing is extensive, from bands like Iron Curtain, Nomads, Take Offense and Xibabla taking the stage prior to the headliners. There are bands from Toronto, Canada and Calgary performing, along with all over the East and West Coast. Local bands include Xibalba, Strife, Iron Curtain and Terror. There are 18 bands currently on the docket to perform and a total of 7 headliners. Check out the flyer for a more extensive list of performers.

Infest is an American Hardcore band, formed in September 1986. Pioneers of the powerviolence genre, the band split up in 1991 to start another band, Manpig, but reunited to record music again in 1995, according to their Ticketfly bio. In 2000, vocals were added. Now over a decade later, the band plays live again. Since 1987 the band has put out two full-length projects and a number of extended plays. According to Ticketfly, their current lineup consists of Joe Denunzio, Matt Domino, Chris Dodge Bob Kasitz.

Terror is a American metalcore hardcore punk band hailing from Los Angeles, California; the five-piece band formed in 2002. They have released six studio albums since their inception and a number of other recordings, according to Ticketfly. Their most recent full-length album titled The Twenty Fifth Hour (2015) was released through Victory Records.
