The Coathangers Release New Video for “Drifter” and Announce Two Shows in Long Beach to Record Live Album

The Coathangers have released a new video for their song “Drifter.” The music video is Street Fighter II themed and films the band members on the beach, almost like a-day-in-the-life-on-a-holiday vibe. It is recorded in different filters as the song plays “Baby I’m a drifter too.” The punk rock band formed in 2006 as a joke, but soon met their calling as a noticeable talent in the music industry. The Coathangers are led by members  Minnie Coathanger, Rusty Coathanger and Bebe Coathanger.

The group will play two shows called The Coathangers present Two Nights Of Magic at Alex’s Bar in Long Beach, to cull songs for a live album. Catch the show November 9th-10th.

“Drifter” is off their EP Parasite from this year, watch it below.

I composed music for a few months in college while living in New York which further sparked my passion for a career in the music industry. Live music is one of my all time favorite things to experience; First Avenue is my favorite venue, might be bias since I was born and raised in Minnesota. Happy ears, happy years.
