Hum Announce Short Run of Fall 2017 Tour Dates

Hum is back on the road for a short run of fall shows. The Champaign, Illinois native band will hook up with Sweet Cobra for a tour this October, as mentioned by the PRP. Hum, an alternative rock band led by members Matt Talbott, Tim Lash, Bryan St. Pere and Jeff Dimpsey are best known for their 1995 radio hit “Stars.” Their latest album Downward is Heavenward was released in 1998, and until 2016 when guitarist Tim Lash mentioned they were working on some new music, it was the last music anyone had heard from them. Despite Hum disbanding in 2000, they have been together for a few tours since then, including a performance at SXSW.

Hum’s 2017 tour dates:

10/25 – Louisville, KY – Zanzabar
10/26 – Nashville, TN – Mercy Lounge
10/27 – Atlanta, GA – The Masquerade
10/28 – Gainesville, FL – The Fest

Amber Washington: Graduated from the University of Pittsburgh, majored in Media & Professional Communication. I play tennis and am always on the lookout for new music, very grateful for Apple Music. I composed music for a few months in college while living in New York which further sparked my passion for a career in the music industry. Live music is one of my all time favorite things to experience; First Avenue is my favorite venue, might be bias since I was born and raised in Minnesota. Happy ears, happy years.
