After a massively successful first run of concert dates, it has been announced that the Game of Thrones Live Concert Experience will be hitting the road in 2018 for a large-scale tour of Europe and North America. Composer Ramin Djawadi will be leading a full orchestra, choir, and soloists through music spanning the seven seasons of the television series.
Critics and fans alike have admired Djawadi’s work during the show’s run, as he managed to create a score that captured the grandiose and epic feeling befitting a show such as Game of Thrones. Now, fans will get a chance to hear the music from the show like never before, making for one unique concert experience.
The tour, which is being produced and promoted by Live Nation, will feature plenty of immersive visual spectacles to accompany the music. Innovative video technology will again be used to recreate the various locals from the show, splicing that with clips from the series in addition to exclusive new imagery being made specifically for the tour.
In addition to scoring Game of Thrones, Djawadi has become one of the go-to composers for epic movies such as Pacific Rim, Warcraft, and Clash of the Titans, as well as the hit HBO series Westworld. Djawadi will also be releasing his new film The Mountain Between Us this October.
