Pop rock band Haim released a short film directed by Paul Thomas Anderson called “Valentine,” which shows an intimate 14 minute recording session between the Haim sisters during their second studio album Something To Tell You. Fans get an inside look at the chemistry that unfolds in the studio, and the sisters got a once in a lifetime chance to work with a director who they’ve admired their whole life.
“We’ve been fans of Paul’s since the first time we saw Boogie Nights on TBS when we were kids,” said Haim on their official Twitter account. The girls held their screening for “Valentine” back in July but admitted on the Twitter post that they waited to release it to the public until “u guys were familiar with the record so u can get a sneak peek into how we made some of our favorite songs.” Check out the entire Twitter post below.
Haim just finished their fall 2017 tour dates, with their last stop being the Life is Beautiful Festival in Las Vegas, NV this weekend. They also just headlined at Music Midtown Festival in Atlanta, GA alongside Big Sean and Tove Lo. Check out their music video for “Want You Back” off their last album here
