Concert for Charlottesville Announced Featuring Brittany Howard, Cage the Elephant and The Roots

After the events that unfolded between white supremacist and counter protesters in Charlottesville last month, the music community is coming together for a concert in tribute for the victims affected by the events. Artist performing in Charlottesville for the “Concert For Charlottesville: An Evening of Music and Unity” on September 24th at UVA Scott Stadium in Charlottesville include the Dave Matthews Band, Pharrell Williams, Justin Timberlake, Chris Stapleton, Ariana Grande, The Roots, Brittany Howard of Alabama Shakes, Cage the Elephant, and special guests.

Admission is free, but donations are highly encouraged and all proceeds will benefit the Charlottesville Area Community Foundation. “Beneficiaries of the fund will include victims of the events in Charlottesville on August 11 and 12, their families, first responders, and organizations devoted to the promotion of healing, unity and justice locally and nationwide.” Check out their website to get your ticket and make a donation.
