Heavy Metal band/stage production/marketing masters GWAR have blessed us with a new song today. “El Presidente” makes direct fun of Trump through a phony press release which is quickly commandeered by GWAR. The Trump phrase that caused him to be flung from the podium? “Nobody is better than me, not even GWAR.” The GWAR member continues to spew propaganda like Trump, but this time with promotion for their new album, The Blood Of Gods, instead of political jargon.
“October 20th, 2017, The Blood Of Gods will unleash upon you fire and fury, the likes of which the world has never seen. That very night, we will begin slashing our way on our bloody tour across North America.” This presidential-level rhetoric from GWAR also came with an encouragement to check out their latest song, “El Presidente,” before the rest of the “deplorables.” GWAR closed the message conclusively, “It’s great, it’s the best. Believe me!”
