Nick Murphy, also known as Chet Faker, has released a new video for “I’m Ready”. This follows “Part 1” where Nick and Dave are talking about the relationship between space and making music.

According to the press release, the track was recorded in a New Orleans carpark during a road trip across the U.S.  The video and voice over in the song continues to talk about the evolution Chet Faker to Nick Murphy. The album that contains this song will begin the first release under the name Nick Murphy, away from the name Chet Faker.

The video starts out showing an empty car parking lot along with scene of flashing yellow lights. As the camera looks around the parking lot, the artist stands in the distance with a boxed object. There are scenes of the artist on the boat, in the sky, and near the ocean. Near the ending, the artist is performing on stage but the video ends with him looking around at the city while standing on the parking lot. The music video can be watched below.

The artist has been on many festivals early on in the year, such as Panorama Music Festival and Shaky Knees Festival.
