Iconic hip hop group Wu-Tang Clan is planning on dropping new project in the near future. According to Rolling Stone, the Shaolin rap titans will be releasing their eighth studio album Wu-Tang: The Saga Continues on October 13th. The album has been reported to be executive produced by legendary producer and the conductor of Wu-Tang RZA plus assistance from his beat making associate DJ Mathematics.

When discussing how Wu-Tang: The Saga Continues came about, RZA talked about how the idea of having elite MCs record over timeless studio equipment came from his beat making partner DJ Mathematics stating “For years, Math has had the idea of putting together a body of music using modern and legendary equipment such as ASR10 with vocal performances by Wu-Tang Clan members and other prominent MCs.” Example of this would be the release of the albums first single “People Say,” where listeners find Wu-Tang’s lyrical warriors Methond Man, Raekwon, Inspectah Deck, Masta Killa and Method Man’s longtime collaborator and fellow respected MC Redman, display over a soulful beat that the people are still saying that Wu-Tang ain’t nothing to f*** with.
