“Same Logic/Teeth” is the fifth song off of Brand New’s Science Fiction, and undoubtedly a standout track. There’s dozens of forum posts discussing the song, this one on the Reddit Brand New subreddit declares it a favorite, and has been upvoted 174 times. It’s a song filled with classic Brand New lyricism, a spectrum of emotion, and instrumentation that is simultaneously melodic, beautiful, and heavy.

Brand New hasn’t stopped hinting that Science Fiction would be their last album. If that’s true, they’ve gone out with a bang, just as they promised in a 2016 press release. “What’s left should be a strange demise, but hopefully one as loud and as fun as the rest of our time together has been. All are invited. Please send flowers.” Science Fiction came about a week ago, when the band physically mailed fans copies of the CD who had preordered the vinyl. Now, the album is available on all major platforms. Go enjoy the tape – it might just be their last.
