Famed drone artist Daniel Avery teamed up with Alessandro Cortini this morning to release a collaborative track, “Sun.” The two originally got together to “explore their shared love of industrial drones and expansive electronics,” and recently announced a collaborative project.
You may know Cortini from his work with Nine Inch Nails, his solo work, or as frontman of Modwheelmood. Daniel Avery you may know from his extensive work with drone sounds in music. For drone fans everywhere, this is a match made in heaven. “I’m a huge fan of Alessandro’s work and I’m proud to share this music with you, something we’ve been working on for the past few months,” Avery said in the description. He went on to say that an “extremely limited white-label 7” titled Sun Draw Water” is now available at Mount Analog in LA, Phonica in London and through the Phantasy web shop.
