As promised, KMFDM dropped their teaser LP Yeah last month and they are currently on track to drop their highly anticipated album Hell Yeah on Aug. 18 via earMUSIC.
A press release describing the upcoming album, says “a crossover between techno/dance and heavy metal is combined with sometimes political, sometimes ironic lyrics and an underlying humorous edge.” The album art shows a glimmer of that idea, with a man taking a selfie while he falls to his death from the Eiffel Tower. KMFDM will be in Chicago, IL this October headlining for the the Cold Waves Festival alongside Front 242 and Stabbing Westward. They will also be going overseas this August for the Brutal Assault and M’Era Luna Festival, before KMFDM hits their European tour in September and US tour in October.
