Haim’s sophomore album, Something to Tell You, keeps shaping up to be something special. Ahead of the album’s July 7th release, the trio drops off another set of visuals for the new single “Want You Back.”
The one-shot clip kicks off with Danielle Haim posted up on a Ventura Boulevard sign as she makes her way down the street on a dusty L.A. morning before being joined shortly by her sisters, Alana and Este. As the upbeat song plays in the back, the three sisters slowly add some dance moves as the song continues to build and build. A few shoulder shakes, air-keyboard chords and drum solos later, the three breakout into some lighthearted dance moves as the song reaches its final chorus.
The new track is without a doubt a summer-ready dance groove and will be sure to climb the charts. It’s groovy, it’s cool, it’s HAIM. HAIM has been steadily hyping up their album, with cryptic billboards and a live performance of “Little of Your Love” on Saturday Night Live, and will perform this new single on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon next Thursday (June 29).
