Dälek Announce New Album Endangered Philosophies for September 2017 Release

Dälek the experimental and barrier-breaking hip hop group from Newark, New Jersey release their seventh album Endangered Philosophies under Ipecac Recordings.

Compromised of MC dälek (vocals and co-producer), Mike Manteca (electronics and co-producer) and DJ rEk, the group has been around since since the 1990’s. According to Rolling Stone, the group has been known for “Mixing the searing political rhetoric of Public Enemy, the suffocating shoegaze textures of My Bloody Valentine and the primal appeal of squealing industrial noise” for over 18 years.

With the current political climate and the uptick in racial issues in America, there’s no better time for Dälek to drop a new album and co-founder Greg Werckman from Ipecac Recordings is more than willing to work with the group again.

“We could not be happier to be working with them again. They remain unique and uncompromising and continue to defy genre limitations.”

Dälek has also released summer tour dates that can be found below.
