Belgian dance-industrial group Lords of Acid have just announced an extensive tour throughout the U.S. to occur from September through November. The tour will be the group’s first in North America in six years. View the tour dates below.
According to a press release, the group’s front man Praga Khan stated, “I think we have an amazing tour planned. It will be a great experience for our fans to see Voodoo-U performed in its entirety along with our other classic hits. We’re also very happy to bring such a talented group of bands new and old out with us.”
Voodoo-U was the group’s second studio album, released in 1994. This year, the band re-released Voodoo-U as well as several of their older albums that have been out of print, including LUST, Our Little Secret and Farstucker, which were all released on or before 2000.
The five-week tour will begin September 26 in Lawrence, Kansas and ends November 4 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Openers throughout the tour include Combichrist, Christian Death, En Esch, Night Club and Wiccid.
Last year, the group announced they would crowdfund their next album, Pretty in Kink. The Kickstarter reached its goal, but the album has not been released yet.
