It is the time when all kind of music festivals to start popping up and for music fans to shell out the money they have saved all year to get the chance to hear their favorite artists and buy the music experience they’ve been dreaming of.

Regarded by fans as the next Coachella, Chalice, which is nicknamed the “Coachella of concentrates,” by the San Francisco Chronicle’s SF Gate, is back again.  The festival is back for the fourth time with Ice Cube headlining the music festival which is taking over the San Bernardino County Fairgrounds in Victorville, Ca the weekend of July 7th-9th.

Doug Dracup, the event founder, is expecting more than 40,000 attendees at this year’s summer extravaganza, which doubles from the previous year with only 25,000 attendees. “This year we’re setting a different standard with Chalice.” Dracup said. “We’re adding attractions and different art installations that have never happened at this kind of festival before. We’re putting a million- or $2 million lineups out there for music – and we’re spending more than $100,000 on art installations.” Chalice has built a reputation for bringing in America’s top glass artistc such as Dwreck, Mothership, JD Maplesden, Mr. Gray, Salt and Jag.

One that would also celebrate the beautiful artistry of glass culture. That is how Chalice – a music, hash, glass and art festival – first began back in 2014 with only 5,500 attendees.
