Downtown Boys Announce New Album Cost Of Living for August 2017 Release

A new punk rock album is on the horizon and during this political climate, you’re going to want to listen to it. Downtown Boys have announced a new album produced by Guy Picciotto, called Cost of Living, which is set to drop this summer on Aug. 11.

According to a press release from the group, Cost of Living will be “at once incendiary, cathartic, and fun, melding the band’s revolutionary ideals with boundless energy.”

Downtown Boys have already released several tracks from the upcoming album, including one banger entitled “A Wall,” a politically charged track where the group sings “A wall a wall! A wall is just a wall.” It’s clear they’re voicing their obvious discontent for the possible plans from the current president about building a wall. Click below to listen to the official song. The second track “Somos Chulas (No Somo Pendejas)”, sang almost entirely in Spanish, encourages listeners to resist the influence of white supremacy.

This upcoming summer and fall will be a busy several months for the Downtown Boys, since they’ll be going on tour through North America and Europe.
