Langhorne Slim has worked with many great musicians in the previous years. Langhorne Slim is an American singer-songwriter with roots in folk-rock and Americana. Langhorne first gained national attention after performing at Bonnaroo Music Festival. Langhorne Slim is also known for performing with Trachtenburg Family Slideshow Players. His hit song, “Electric Love Letter” peaked at number 5 on Rolling Stone’s top ten picks.
Langhorne got its start in 2004 when he signed with V2 Records. Langhorne Slim released his debut album, Electric Love Letter the same year. In 2006, Langhorne Slim released his self-titled album which earned numerous nominations. Following the release, the band toured the US and Europe. The band spent the summer of 2009 performing at various music venues like Lollapalooza, Newport Folk Festival, and Philadelphia Folk Festival. Langhorne Slim spent the next few years performing all over the world. Langhorne Slim fourth album The Way We Move debuted at number 194 on Billboard Top 200 chart and number 5 on Top New Artists Albums chart. Langhorne Slim was praised for their latest album on many websites.
In 2015, Langhorne Slim released their fifth album The Spirit Moves. The same year, the band made their live tv debut on Conan performing their hit single, “Strangers”. Their music video for “Strangers” premiered on Conon’s YouTube channel. Langhorne Slim toured North America in support of the album. In late 2016, Langhorne Slim released their collection of live recordings on Live at Grimey’s.
