Shaky Knees, yes please. Atlanta, Georgia’s premier 3-day festival did not disappoint this year, featuring headliners LCD Soundsystem, The xx, and Phoenix as well as a number of talented indie rock n’ rollers. Among the lineup for the first day were high-energy RKS (Rainbow Kitten Surprise), everyone’s favorite emo kids Car Seat Headrest, and punk-AF FIDLAR. Twin Peaks blew it away with an intoxicating spastic and sweaty performance, while Cage the Elephant channeled The Stones. The Pixies made us all ask “Where is My Mind?” as they blew ours. And the evening ended with the electronic soundscapes of LCD Soundsystem blasting through Centennial Park.
