American singer-songwriter Jacob Whiteside has been on the rise in the pop music scene for some time now. Jacob first gained national attention after appearing on the popular singing competition show, The X-Factor. Jacob continued to pursue music after the show ended its season. Jacob Whiteside found his love of music at the age of 10 after attending a music festival. Jacob Whiteside released his debut EP, 3 AM in 2014. The EP featured covers of popular musicians like John Legend and John Mayer. The EP was so well received, earning the number 2 spot on Independent Albums chart and number 26 on Billboard 200. The following year, Jacob released his second EP titled A Piece of Me. The same year, Whiteside partnered with BMG to form his own record label Double U Records, with Jacob serving as CEO. The singer-songwriter made his national tv debut on Good Morning America on October 21, 2015. Jacob Whiteside headlined his first worldwide tour, Lovesick Tour, in May 2016.
