Lots of news coming out of the once silent Gorillaz world lately with some additional new music to add. The new song is titled “The Apprentice” and features Rag’n’Bone Man, Zebra Katz & RAY BLK. The song bursts with soul from start to finish and challenges its listener not to rock their head back and forth. Published on Youtube yesterday (April 24) the audio for the track can be steamed below.

Some other highlights that have surfaces for Gorillaz fans includes a first ever live interview with Murdoc and 2d. Their first North American Tour in seven years this summer. A Chicago version of Demon Dayz Festival set to be hosted by Gorillaz. Damon Albarn announced that he will be taking the animated faces of the group on a 10-episode TV show. All of this major news and so much more has made 2017 a great year to be a Gorillaz fan thus far.
