Dead Cross Featuring Mike Patton, Dave Lombardo and Justin Pearson Announce Debut Album Dead Cross For August 2017 Release

Alternative metal supergroup Dead Cross – which features Dave Lombardo, Justin Pearson, Mike Crain and Mike Patton – have finally announced their debut album. According to Ultimate Guitar, the self-titled effort will be released on August 4th via Ipecac Records and Three One G (which is owned by Pearson).

Pearson, who is sort of the ringleader of the entire project, went on The Peer Pleasure Podcast and made the announcement. Check out the entire show below:

So far, fans of this new band as well as Slayer, Suicidal Tendencies, Faith No More, Detox and The Locust (all bands the members of Dead Cross are either currently in or were formerly in) there has only been two chances to hear the music by this incredible new group. The first was a song called “We’ll Sleep When They’re Dead,” and was released few months after the announcement of the new group. At that time, Gabe Serbian was serving as lead vocalist of the newly-announced group.

Then, the star-studded group got even more awesome with the announcement that vocal chameleon Mike Patton would be filling in the spot vacated by Serbian’s leaving the group. Naturally, this announcement was met with much excitement and brought an entirely new level of enthusiasm to hear new music. The first chance to hear Lombardo and Patton together on a track came this St. Patrick’s Day, when a song titled “Shillelah” was released for one day only. As promised, it was promptly removed the next day.
