Tegan and Sara @ Bill Graham Civic Auditorium 6/4

Dynamic twin duo, Tegan and Sara are heading into San Francisco and riding with the Colossal Clusterfest music festival wave into the city. The duo will be performing on the last day of the festival on June 4th. They will be headlining with comedians Jerry Seinfeld and Hannibal Burress. The festival will have about 30 other acts going on throughout the day, so a ticket to this will forsure be worth your buck.

The Canadian duo started performing professional back in 1999 and eventually hit mainstream success back in 2009 with their album Sainthood. The sister’s most recent work includes 2016’s Love You to Death. That album is known for the songs Boyfriend, Stop Desire, and U-Turn. Previous to that the band has released eight other studio albums and thirteen singles. Their biggest hits include Where Does The Good Go, Closer, Back In Your Head, The Con, and Walking With a Ghost. The band ventured into the mainstream industry with their commercial hit and most well known song Everything Is Awesome which was the theme song for the hit movie The Lego Movie. The two women share similar vocal styles and the intertwining of their voices allows for a layering of sound which makes their music so fantastic. Their indie-pop genre works great with their lyrics and signature sound.

Fans of Metric, Best Coast, and St. Vincent will be down for this two badass women. This festival will be a fun mix of good music and good laughs. This is one of the more interesting festivals with the combination of comedy and music, so I guarantee this is an experience you’re not gonna wanna miss out on. So, my dudes, come hang and listen to some great tunes.
