Sirius XM Presents Dan Auerbach @ Music Hall of Williamsburg 5/12

It’s been eight years since Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys released a solo album, and even though Waiting on a Song doesn’t come out until June, you can catch a live broadcast of it (thanks to Sirius XM) at Music Hall of Williamsburg on May 12th.

Released on Easy Eye Sound (Auerbach’s new label), this album is the much-anticipated follow-up record to his debut solo release, Keep it Hid from 2009. His new record explores his deep connection to Nashville where he moved in 2010 to decompress from being on a non-stop tour with The Black Keys, and to seek inspiration from the city’s culture and the grand influx of artists and musicians who live there. The single “Shine on Me” has already been released. You can watch his music video on You Tube here.

For Sirius XM listeners, you can also stream the show on Channel 28 (The Spectrum).
