Temples @ Underground Arts 5/15

English rock band Temples have been around for a while. Since 2012, Temples have continued to make a name for themselves with their music. Their new album recently came out this month, making it their second studio album. During their career, Temples have released 3 EPs, a handful of singles, and 2 studio albums. Temples comes to town to perform hits from their new album at Underground Arts. The Temples are currently signed with Heavenly Records.

Temples got their start in Kettering, England in 2012 with Tom Walmsley and James Bagshaw. After meeting and working together on multiple projects, Tom and James founded Temples. Their debut album, Sun Structures was a huge success.  The album reached number seven on the UK music chart. The success of the album shot Temples into the mainstream lane, touring with various acts. Temples headlined their own UK tour in October 2013 in support of their debut album. A few months later, Temples headlined another tour this time around Europe, North America, and Australia. Their success followed them to live television with their live tv debut on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

In early 2015, Temples announced they were working on a new album. A few days later, Temples released two new singles “Henry’s Cake” and “Volcano/Savior”. Before attending European festivals in 2016, Temples spent the better half of the year working on their album. Temples released their second album on March 3, 2017.
