Major. has written for famous singers over the years. The R&B singer is bringing his unique style to The Foundry this spring. Known for using gospel in his music, Major. decided to bring the word of God to the light of mainstream. Be on the lookout for his new album due this year.

The Los Angeles native’s hit song, “Why I Love You” has been used in multiple weddings and climbed to the top of various charts. In 2016, Major. released his debut album, I AM MAJOR. In the early days of his career, Major. wrote for chart-topping artists while working on his own music. His hit song reached number 12 on the Billboard Adult R&B Songs chart and held the spot for over 12 weeks. Major.’s sound has been compared to the likes of Musiq Soulchild, Bruno Mars, John Legend, and others. Major. has stated that faith plays a large part in his music. Major. is currently signed to BOE. Music Group. Since releasing his debut album, Major. has already started working on his next album, collaborating with the famous Harmony Samuels.

Major. continues to amaze the world with his words and low key beats. Major. is one of the few artists who actually write his own songs and perform. Patti LaBelle has co-signed Major. when she performed a cover of his song, Why I Love You. On the way to his show, drop by a record store and pick up his album, I AM MAJOR.

Donovan Wilkins: Donovan Wilkins is a self-taught photographer and published writer. He lives in Glenside after moving from his hometown of Philadelphia. After studying Liberal Arts at CCP, he decided to focus his time on his writing and photography. In 2016, Donovan completed his first feature-length screenplay, The Coast is Clear. During his career, Donovan worked on a small budget film in Philadelphia as part of a writing team. Since then, he has written various short screenplays.
