WATCH: At the Drive-In Debut New Song “Incurably Innocent” Live in Dallas

Yesterday, March 14, At the Drive In performed a sold out show in Dallas, Texas at Club Dada to kick off their new tour that will extend throughout the United States and into Europe over spring and summer. During the show, the band debuted new song called “Incurably Innocent,” which has been released online but never before played live. View the video below:

“Incurably Innocent” features At the Drive In’s tried and true driving beats, upbeat guitar rhythms, and powerful vocals from singer Cedric Bixler. From several videos posted online, it’s clear that At the Drive In’s fans were pleased with the live version of the latest single, applauding during pauses and screaming their praise toward the end of the song.

Fans posting on the Facebook event for the show after it ended were happy with the debut and overall performance of At the Drive In, especially considering that the show was the band’s first tour stop. Elsewhere on social media, fans were pleased to record Bixler utilizing his well-known stage presence by jumping off speakers and even heading outside during the show to sing to fans that weren’t able to get tickets.

“I was four feet away from one of my favorite bands [last night].” One fan wrote online. “[Bixler] agitated and wailed around that tiny stage while we packed in like sudorific sardines. I was hypnotized.”

“Incurably Innocent” is one of the singles off of the band’s forthcoming album In•ter a•li•a, which means “among other things” in Latin. At the Drive In had previously released “Governed by Contagions” as another single. It will be out May 5 via Rise Records, and is the bands first new album in 17 years, since 2000’s Relationship of Command. As a band, the current lineup is a result of several changes throughout its years of activity and hiatus since 1993, but includes vocalist Bixler, Omar Rodriguez and Keelsey Davis on guitar and vocals, Paul Hinojos on bass and Tony Hajjar on drums.

Recently, At The Drive In were announced as the special guest for the House of Vans lineup at The Mohawk during SXSW 2017 in Austin, Texas.
