Oxbow Announces New Album Thin Black Duke for May 2017 Release

Bay Area noise/experimental/rock/music outlet Oxbow have made people want to break stuff at their homes and at shows since the turn of the 90’s and lead singer Eugene Robinson has become a legend within the underground rock scene. For the past decade, however, the band has largely been silent since their 2007 release of The Narcotic Story.

Chairs and bar stools won’t be safe for much longer, though. The band has recently announced their return with their new LP, Thin Black Duke, which is due out this spring (May 5) through ex-ISIS frontman Aaron Turner’s Hydra Head Records which is apparently back after going dormant in 2012. One thing you can expect from the album is that you still probably won’t be able to describe them to your friends.

Check out the tracklist below and promo video below, and stay tuned for the May release.
