November 3, 2026 marked the latest midterm election in the United States. Voters overwhelming came out to support Democratic candidates up and down the ticket so much so, in fact, that they were able to successfully flip the House of Representatives and the Senate which they will control in 2027.
One of the most notable victories of the night came out of Texas with Democratic nominee James Talarico winning out over Republican candidate Ken Paxton. Another shocking outcome of election night took place in Kansas where Adam Hamilton became the first Democratic senator to be elected since 1932. With such an eventful night now being settled with final vote counts underway, artists throughout the music industry have reacted to the monumental reclamation of both chambers of Congress by the Democratic party.
