Elvis Costello & The Imposters Announce Summer 2017 Tour Dates

Elvis Costello, the pioneer of the New Wave Punk Scene in 1954 U.K., announced he and the Imposters will be going on a massive North American Tour this summer. The tour will reimagine the 1980’s Imperial Bedroom album that was recorded with famed Beatles Producer Geoff Emerick. The album is known for highlighting Costellos wide range and capability for massive pop singles delivered in melancholy manner that he was known for. The singer explained he doesn’t plan on delivering the song the same as before despite resurrecting the title of the tour Imperial Bedroom & Other Chambers stated,

“We never intended to recite this book from cover to cover. Listen to our new arrangement of “Tears Before Bedtime”—it gets straight to the real meaning of that song, the way we hear and feel it today. Back in 1982, I might have been a step or two ahead of our crowd in the tragic, romantic stakes, but I sense that they’ve all caught up with me now.”

This is technically the latter half of a previously scheduled tour that occurred last fall. The artist will likely play a range of music varying from just Imperial Bedroom & Other Chambers. With a range of music Elvis is known for delivering an exceptional show.
