Saint Pe Announces New LP Fixed Foxus for April 2017 Release

Saint Pe has recently announced a new LP called Fixed Foxus, which will be out on April 7th through Ernest Jennings Record Co.

The idea had started with the thought of change in Ian Saint Pe after ten years of touring with Black Lips, who recently performed at the Sabertooth Festival. He had stated “”The only thing you can’t change is time, So it was time that changed me. I loved the Black Lips, but I needed to enjoy new environments. So I got a brand new bag: Saint Pé.” In order to fulfill this new brand, he packed up and moved to Nashville and settled in a log cabin owned by Roy Acuff. With this new home, he had found a studio where he worked with some friends from Atlanta to create this debut album.

According to the press release, the album was record by the artist, mixed by Matt Boynton in New York City and mastered by Joel Hatstat in Athens, GA. The album has said to be bringing the same style as Ian Saint Pe’s work with Black Lips and Diamond Rugs. The tracklist and artwork are listed below.

Along with the working on the album, the artist has also released the single “Kiss It Goodbye”. This song has been called “a reconfiguring of his old band’s rock ‘n’ roll ideal.”
