The countdown to Valentines Day has begun (for those who indulge in that Hallmark Holiday, that is). But, for those who might hallmark (no pun intended) February 14th as yes, a cheesy-love kind of day; but, no, do not ignore the fact that even a night home with le “boo” on said date is a must, then well, the unrequited 2017 Valentine anthem is out, and here for anyone and everyone who does or does not partake in said lovey-ish festivities.
Blood Orange brainchild, Dev Hynes, and Bryndon Cook, of Starchild and The New Romantic, have just announced a new musical collab, oh and have released a song. The new band is called Veilhmyn, and the new track is called “Hymn”. We’re sensing a theme here. Sources at Pitchfork share, “Cook previously toured with Hynes and appeared on last year’s excellent Blood Orange album Freetown Sound….which features Cook on lead vocals and Hynes on production duties, according to Brooklyn Vegan.”
Find the new track below, and prepared to get oooh ahh ohhh sooo sensitive.
