Red Bull Sound Select and Innovative Leisure Presents Hanni El Khatib Album Release Party @ Teragram Ballroom 2/9

On February 9th Red Bull Sound Select along with Innovative Leisure will be hosting the album release party for Hanni El Khatib’s new release of Savage Times.  The multi-faceted artist began his musical career in 2010 when he released his singles “Dead Wrong” and “Build. Destroy. Rebuild.”  Backed by summer Nicky Fleming-Yaryan, he as also played at SXSW and Bonnaroo in 2011.  After the release of his debut album, it drew critical acclaim and comparisons to The White Stripes and Devendra Banhart.  It also drew the attention of Dan Auerbach of the Black Keys who would go on to record Khatib’s second album “Head in the Dirt.”

As the former creative director of skateboard fashion label HUF, music has been become more and more familiarized over time with songs being placed in numerous shows for HBO, USA, BBC, and in a wide range of commercials for Captain Morgan, Converse and Nike, just to name a few.  His song “Can’t Win ‘Em All” was also featured in an ad that debuted during the 2013 Super Bowl.

Joining Khatib for his release will be Dude York and Pinky Pinky.  The time and date are set for 8pm at the Teragram Ballroom and is sure to be a blast! You can RSVP here to the party which will gain you entrance for $3, there will be a $10 entrance fee at the door however you will not be guaranteed entrance should you not RSVP.
