After producing nineteen studio albums, french composer and electronic music extraordinaire is embarking on his first-ever North American Tour.
The tour will commence on May 9th in Toronto, ON making stops in various locations across the the U.S all the way to its final stop in Los Angeles, CA, May 27th for a total of nine tour dates. According to COS, Jarre’s live preformances will feature “powerful visuals” and music from his two-part LP Electronica, as well as Oxygene 3 his most recent album released last December.
Oxygene 3 is the final installment to Jarre’s Oxygene Trilogy. December 1976 was the release of Oxygene, which included the first six tracks. The second installment, Oxygene 7-13 was released in 1997. On Dec. 2nd 2016, 40 years to the date Jarre completed the trilogy and released tracks 14-20 on Oxygene 3.
The North American leg of the tour is in continuation to his Electronica World tour that began last October 4th in Cardiff, UK. Tickets go on sale this Friday January 27th. Pre-sale access is available to those who pre-order Oxygene 3 on January 25th.
