Charles Bradley Announces First Live Shows Since Cancelling Tour Due to Stomach Cancer

After canceling the remaining dates of their tour in support of their new album Changes, Charles Bradley & His Extraordinaries are back and have announced their first tour dates for 2017.

In October, Bradley had to cancel several shows due to health concerns. In a statement to fans they announced that unfortunately doctors found a cancerous tumor in the singers stomach and the remaining tour dates would be canceled to focus on medical treatment and recovery.

Thankfully balance has been restored in the musical world and the Soul singer from Florida is set to return to the stage. In August Bradley will be headlining Oregon’s annual Pickathon Music Festival, as well as an additional dates in Baton Rouge plus festival appearances at High Water Festival in North Charleston, and Forecastle Festival in Louisville.

Maybe these performance’s will spark a full return? Let hope so!
