Moby @ Hotel Cafe 1/20

After turning down the president-elect’s invitation to play his inauguration, Moby has instead agreed to play an intimate show at the Hotel Cafe in Hollywood on the day Trump will be sworn into office.  This performance will not be a show of support, but will in fact be a show to raise hope and awareness with 100% of the  proceeds going to the Downtown Women’s Center, The LGBT Youth Center, and the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights in Los Angeles.

After being contacted about performing at the ball, Moby responded in a way that put many of us at ease and even brought a sense of light-heartedness to the situation stating “…Hahahahaha, wait, Hahahaha, really? I guess I’d DJ at an inaugural ball if as payment #trump released his tax returns. Also I would probably play public enemy and stockhausen remixes to entertain the republicans.”  To many American’s delight, Moby has flipped the script and turned his performance into an event we can all take pride in attending for a cause we can all get behind.

Join Moby and others on Friday January 20th for this special acoustic performance and benefit at the Hotel Cafe.  Sing, dance, and celebrate.  Not necessarily for the inauguration but to celebrate hope, life, unity, and the human spirit.
