TOKiMONSTA @ The Roxy Theatre 2/10

LA native, TOKiMONSTA aka Jennifer Lee has put her own unique spin on indie electronic/r&b/dance music. She was raised and taught in a classical setting with a broad range and taste in music, this has allowed her to create vast soundscape of vintage sound and familiar bounce that each and everyone one of us can grasp on to.

According to her bio, TOKiMONSTA has been featured on numerous large-scale radio programs such as: BBC Radio1 (UK), NPR (USA), BBC World Service (UK), J Wave (JP), Studio Brussels (BE), Radio Nova (FR), KCRW (LA) to name a few. Subsequently, she has been covered by a variety of music magazines and LA Weekly ranked her as 2010’s #1 female DJ in Los Angeles.  She is also the first female artist to grace the roster of the infamous LA record label BRAINFEEDER.

TOKiMONSTA’s new album features the likes of Anderson .paak, Kiya Lacey, and A l l i e, just to name a few.  She is continuously on tour all over the world, providing all walks of life with her unique and engaging sound.  On Friday February 10 TOKiMONSTA will be performing at the Roxy along side fellow performer CRi providing an electrical opening set.
