Dumbfoundead @ The Roxy Theatre 2/19

Born to South Korean immigrants in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Dumbfounded has had quite the cultural upbringing after his parents finally settled in Korea Town, where Dumbfounded was raised.   Influenced and motivated by battle rap Dumbfounded has been apart of many rap tournaments such as the West Coast of Grind Time and and gained notoriety during the 2007 World Rap Championship.

His rise to fame can be attributed to his battle rap abilities and strong online presence.  He holds the title with fellow battle rapper Conceited as the popular english rap battle of 2015.  His accolades don’t end there.  He was also given strong praise by Drake during the OVO’s event King of the Dot: Blackout 5.  Over time, he has been able to translate his witty lyrics and rhyme scheme into a viable style that holds firm the essence of emceeing that can be heard throughout his latest mixtape We Might Die.  The lead single, which shares the name of the album, is on where Dumbfoundead finds himself skipping and surfing across a bouncing beat with rolling snares and catchy hook, much like you would expect from well engineered commercial record, a new area of  growth that he has found in his career.

Dumbfounded will be performing at The Roxy Theatre on Sunday February 19 armed with his exuberant personality and high octane performance energy.  It’ll be a show you won’t want to miss on out whether a you’re a long time fan or someone looking to expand their musical tastes.
